GAME NEWS
No major news thus far this week, update 8.01 mostly seems to have been a positive update. Looking forwards to hearing more about update 9 soon hopefully (which should include the arrival of the new SRV).
As a reminder however, the focused feedback is still being gathered about engineering (and particularly the grind involved) so make sure that you participate and leave your feedback. This is a great opportunity to make the game better both for us, and for newer players so they don’t need to deal with the grind that we old-timers did. Link here:
1000 Days of NEWP
Our squadron just turned 1000 days old (on Inara) as of Saturday. Does that make NEWP a millenial now? A huge thank you to everyone who has signed up for membership there, there are 1131 of us now. If you haven’t already signed up here’s a link to us there:
FACTION NEWS
War, War Never Changes.
NEWP is going to war, this time we are fighting to take control of our 20th star system, a major milestone for the Faction. If you’d like to take part in this operation, be sure to head down to the faction chat channel on discord and speak to the faction team about how to get involved.
EVENTS
**This Weekend **
This Saturday we’ll be doing a bubble exploration tour, courtesy of 5 Euro Tours (powered by the New Pilots Initiative). We will be visiting a bunch of interesting waypoints in and around the bubble. A sightseeing tour meant for even the greenest of pilots.
The tour will take around an 1/1.5 hours. Bring a ship with at least 20ly jump range, a fuel scoop and an SRV. The tour starts 19.00 Galactic Time. Be sure to bring a camera!
