GAME NEWS
Patch 9.01 appears to have had some positive influence on the key issues which emerged from update 9. I suspect this will be the last update of the year, and Update 10 is expected sometime mid-late January.
Also note that right now we FDev are giving away free ARX every day that you log in. Right now this is at 300ARX per day, and likely to continue to increase as we get closer to Christmas. You literally just need to log on to collect them.
GALACTIC NEWS
For those who have not realised yet, some of the recent Galnet articles related to the infamous Winking Cat make reference to a “Gift from a thief”. And there have since been 3 oddly titled Galnet articles, with some strange spelling mistakes in the text. 3 more are expected over the next week or so.
I’m sure that you’ll all be able to solve this little puzzle for yourselves. However, if you’d rather just get the goods, I’ve written up a full explanation of the puzzle and the target locations and pinned it in the elite chat channel on discord.

Our planned destination offers mining, bounty hunting and exploration, and Short Bus will be on station to offer transportation not only for your additional ships but also for valuable cargo. The trip will be for 2 weeks, feel free to bring along as many ships as you desire.
